OAKLAND \u2014 Police said that a 41-year-old San Francisco man was shot and killed Sunday morning while driving a Tesla in a residential neighborhood along Seminary Avenue, near International Boulevard.<\/p>

The shooting occurred about 11:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Seminary Avenue, and the shots came from somewhere outside the car, Oakland police said. The man was declared dead at the scene; his identity is being withheld pending notification of family.<\/p>\n

Homicide investigators are still trying to determine what brought the man to that neighborhood and a motive for the shooting.\u00a0 No suspects are in custody.<\/p>

The man\u2019s death marks the 24th homicide in Oakland in 2026. At the same time last year, there had been 35 homicides.<\/p>\n
