He\u2019s said to have entertained recurring suicidal thoughts for roughly two decades before dying in a Los Angeles hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Carradine, who also appeared in \u201cLizzie McGuire\u201d and \u201cBonanza,\u201d checked himself into a UCLA mental health facility where he\u2019d previously been treated on Jan. 16.<\/p>\n<p>An aide at the hospital discovered the Los Angeles native unresponsive and in cardiac arrest upon going to his room to tell him he had a phone call from his daughter a day later. Carradine had a leather belt around his neck.<\/p>\n<p>He was revived, but died weeks later after being moved to an intensive care unit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cause of death is attributed to sequelae of anoxic brain injury due to hanging,\u201d the medical examiner\u2019s office stated.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nextcitydigest.com\/?p=1861\">Mexico kicks off a supersized, 48-team tournament<\/a><\/p>\n<p>No suicide note was found.<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>His \u201cRevenge of the Nerds\u201d costars included embattled actor Timothy Busfield and Donald Gibb.<\/p>\n<p>Gibb played a bully named Ogre who tormented Carradine and Busfield\u2019s nerdy characters in the 1984 comedy and its sequels. He died in May after battling throat cancer, according to TMZ.<\/p>\n<p>Busfield, who played geeky Arnold Poindexter, was indicted in February on four counts of sexual conduct with a child.
