Authorities are investigating a death discovered in the Marin Headlands.
The body was reported at about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, said Battalion Chief Jason Golden of the Southern Marin Fire Protection District. A boat crew found the body near the rocks below a cliff at the north end of Rodeo Beach.

“We have no knowledge of how he slipped or what time he slipped,” Golden said.
U.S. Park Police are investigating the case, the fire district said.
The Marin County coroner’s office has not released the person’s name.
